Meet the Doctor

Dr. Sachi Shah co-founded Emerald Dental Spa in Union, NJ with her friend and dental school classmate Dr. Parth Shah. Dr. Sachi strives to provide excellent dental care to her patients by stressing the importance of preventive oral hygiene. She is a talented, compassionate, and sensitive provider, making her patients always feel comfortable and at ease. Her treatment philosophy is simple and conservative- treating each of her patients as if they are family. Dr. Sachi is a young dentist with a mission, ambition, and a love for creation.

Dr. Sachi graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in psychology and chemistry. She then went on to receive her DMD degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Sachi found her passion in making others feel good by providing preventive and cosmetic dental care. She then continued her education at Hackensack UMC Mountainside Hospital in a one year post doctoral residency program. During residency, Dr. Sachi gained extensive experience in treating medically compromised patients, surgical dentistry, and preventive dentistry. It was here that she was able to hone in and strived to master her skills in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Sachi continues to broaden her education by staying relevant with the latest education, tools and technology to best serve her patients. She is actively involved in organized dentistry and currently serves as vice president and trustee of the Tri-County Dental Society and board member of the New Jersey Dental Association. Dr. Sachi strongly believes in giving back to the community. She has participated and managed dental services at several health camps organized by local charities. She also sponsors cultural events in the community on a regular basis, while also providing dental services to underprivileged population.

Dr. Sachi now lives in Morristown, NJ with her husband Justin. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, working out at Orange Theory, and traveling. Her biggest achievement has been climbing to the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro- the tallest mountain in Africa!
